gcc:

Rename directory from /opt/gcc to /opt/gcc-2.7.2.1
There are some hard coded references to this path in the compiled binaries.
Modify third line of env.ksh to:
   INFOPATH=/opt/gcc-2.7.2.1/info${INFOPATH:+:}${INFOPATH:-}
This prevents a parameter not set error.

Emacs-19.34b:

EDIT /etc/dt/appconfig/types/C/emacs.dt
CHANGE ACTION emacs to ACTION emacs-19.34b
CHANGE LABEL emacs to LABEL emacs-19.34b
CHANGE WINDOW_TYPE TERMINAL to WINDOW_TYPE NO_STDIO

Xdiff:

EDIT /etc/dt/appconfig/types/C/xdiff.dt
CHANGE ARG_COUNT 2 to ARG_COUNT *

XPostitPlus:

EDIT /etc/dt/appconfig/types/C/XpostitPlus.dt
CHANGE ACTION xpostnote to ACTION XPostitPlus

Xrn:

Make sure that NNTPSERVER environment variable is set in CDE before running.

Xpaint:

/opt/libtiff/lib is missing.
Make sure that /opt/libtiff/lib/libtiff.sl is installed before attempting to run xpaint.

trace:

Make sure that you only install the appropriate trace for your OS revision.
ie. trace-10.10 for HPUX 10.10 and trace-10.20 for HPUX 10.20

Xmcd:

Make sure that XMCD_LIBDIR is set to /opt/xmcd/lib/xmcd
Make sure that /opt/xmcd/lib/xmcd/config/common.cfg device: line is correct for the CDROM on you system.

Crack:

EDIT /opt/crack/Crack CRACK_HOME="~aem/dougal/crack41f" to "/opt/crack"

groff:

/opt/groff/lib and /opt/groff/share are missing.
Make sure that /opt/groff/lib and share are installed before attempting to run groff.

wish4.1:

ln -s /opt/tcl /opt/tcl7.5

apache:

Config file /usr/local/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf must be installed.

httpd:

Config file /opt/httpd/conf/httpd.conf must be installed.

fortune:

increase nfile and maxfiles kernel parameters as per notes.

ghostscript:

GS_LIB=/opt/ghostscript/share/ghostscript/4.03
GS_FONTPATH=/opt/ghostscript/share/ghostscript/fonts

libXpm:

sxpm must bin run from /opt/libXpm/bin directory
