Volunteers at Interex

Volunteers who were interested in sharing and exchanging information founded Interex in 1974. Since then the volunteer members and the staff have worked together to build and improve the organization and further develop the working partnership with Hewlett-Packard. Volunteers serve in many varied capacities supporting the Association including participation on volunteer committees. These committees develop conference programs, advocacy surveys, forums, and participate in an international worldwide users council. Other members are involved in volunteer development and user group support, which offer the chance to seek new learning opportunities outside of the workplace as well as improve leadership skills. There are also opportunities for individuals interested in being Special Interest Group and User Group Leaders. One of the unique attributes of Interex is that all members of the Board of Directors serve as dedicated volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, go to Become A Volunteer.
