The Legal Forum for Israel was established in 2004 following the Disengagement Plan Implementation Law to defend the rights of Israeli residents of the Gaza Strip.
After the disengagement, with the membership of 350 lawyers and a professional staff, the Forum is acting in order to strategically influence and balance the judicial system
The Legal Forum initiated and established organizations active in the media, the environment, the police and in education.
