About Us

The Legal Forum for Israel – an organization dedicated to strengthening the country’s Jewish identity, ensuring sound government and protecting human rights was established in 2004 following the Disengagement Plan Implementation Law to defend the rights of Israeli residents of the Gaza Strip.
After the disengagement, the Legal Forum continues in its activities in order to strategically influence and balance the judicial system.

The Forum’s small legal and administrative staff coordinates a varied range of projects in the legal arena, with the support of a 370 attorney membership. With the assistance of these members, the Forum’s in-house attorneys draft policy reports, prepare bill proposals and position papers, appeal Supreme Court rulings, and appear in the media.

The Legal Forum employs an integrated strategy to expose and re-calibrate the problematic role the judiciary plays within Israeli democracy, while cooperating with MKs from across the political spectrum by submit and passing pro-Israel legislation in the Knesset.
The Legal Forum initiated and established organizations active in the media, the environment, the police and education.
