Dear Interex Member,

Interex has been the world's largest independent organization of Hewlett-Packard computing professionals for 28 years. Since our inception, we have provided our members with training, advocacy services and technical knowledge.

As you know, the merger between HP and Compaq is now complete and the newly merged company will begin operating today. We realize that many of you may have questions and concerns about the new HP and are eager to find out how it affects your company and your career.

Interex is working closely with the newly merged company to ensure that the transition plan and all road maps are properly communicated to you, and that additional resources and benefits related to the new organization become part of Interex's many offerings.

We are now in the process of preparing for the HP World 2002 Conference & Expo, which is expected to draw thousands of HP IT professionals to Los Angeles in September. This year, HP World will showcase the new HP; its leaders and plans for the future; and the usual comprehensive and in-dept technical program that we have delivered for years.
