HP Chairman and CEO Carly Fiorina and President Michael Capellas to Present Keynote Addresses at HP World 2002 in Los Angeles

HP World 2002 Conference & Expo Brings Together the new HP and Partners for Annual Gathering with HP Customers

SUNNYVALE, Calif.—May 20, 2002—Interex launched today the first conference program for the new HP, providing IT professionals a unique opportunity to learn first-hand about the new products, services and solutions that result from the industry's biggest merger to date. HP World 2002 Conference & Expo, the largest North American event to focus on HP-related computing solutions, will be held September 23-27 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The conference, themed "Your Road Map for Growth," is expected to attract more than 8,000 HP customers from around the world and will address a broad range of post-merger HP technologies and solutions. Sessions will address a wide range of relevant and timely topics, including how to ease the transition IT professionals face as a result of the union of HP and Compaq.

Carly Fiorina to Address Conference Attendees

A highlight of this year's conference includes a keynote address by HP Chairman and CEO Carly Fiorina, her second address conference presentation since joining the company in 1999. Conference attendees will hear Fiorina's views on the state of the new HP, the importance of the merger with Compaq and the anticipated impact of the new structure on IT professionals.
