Are Interex and Encompass merging?
Interex and Encompass are independent user group organizations and have no current plans to merge. With the merger of Compaq and HP last year, both groups found great value in consolidating the collective strength of the two big user-group events—HPEnterprise Technical Symposium (HP-ETS) and HP World—into a single, comprehensive conference and exposition for users of HP solutions and technologies.
How will HP World 2003 compare to past Interex and Encompass events?
Representatives from Interex, Encompass and HP are collaborating to deliver conference sessions that meet the needs of their respective members and customers. Each group has a unique culture and specific objectives for the conference, and the decision-making committee is doing everything possible to deliver the greatest value - and preserve the integrity - for each distinct audience, including special training sessions for Certified Professionals and Solutions Architects.
What is happening with the InterWorks Conference?
InterWorks sessions, seminars and networking events will also be integrated into HP World. We will continue to offer comprehensive, hands-on technical training seminars, sessions and certification programs for IT professionals seeking in-depth skills and knowledge related to deployment and day-to-day operation of HP systems technologies. We will also continue to offer numerous peer-to-peer and attendee-to-HP engineer networking sessions.
When will session abstracts be available on the web?
We are working as fast we can on the integration of our content programs. We plan on having the abstracts available on the web by mid-April. Simply send an email [email protected] to be placed on our Interest list. An email will go out to this list as soon as the program is made available.
